Quickly shop the store yesterday. Cashier was incredible. Check me out very quickly and was very talkative and sweet.
Love the meat department at this location. Meat always fresh and counter is always helpful and will cut up meat quickly and on demand. Produce department is okay. Overall enjoy our shopping trips here.
Great prices I usually go for the dry goods
There are some decent deals at this Price Chopper occasionally, mainly in produce and bakery, but not much elsewhere. They consistently sell expired items with the date scrubbed off and they repackage and re-time old cooked food. We were at the hospital all day today so we were tired. We bought some fried chicken for the kids because we were too tired to cook. The guy tells us he just cooked some fresh chicken and it would be ready soon. We bought it and didn't think anything about it because again, we were tired, and you expect people to be honest. We get it home and it was clear that the chicken had not only sat for a long while, but they double fried it after it sat to make it look like it was fresh. The skin was hard, greasy, and chewy, and the meat was dry and hard. I won't be buying any of their cooked food or anything except maybe fresh bread, produce, and milk. I've had too many bad experiences from several departments with old food at this store(frozen, deli, meat) to trust this Price Chopper again, especially considering how expensive they are compared to other super markets. I can't wait until Aldi opens back up. Until then Wegman's it is. It's a bit of a ride, but at least their food is fresh and safe.
Dont go late night cashiers just stand around talking when they have a huge line waiting
